Recommendations

Television shows I recommend:

Ghost Whisperer (I'm just getting started watching this, I'm currently on episode 4 from the 1st season).

Medium (been watching this since the beginning).

Torchwood (love it!)

Doctor Who (I've seen some of the older episodes but I'm really only watching the 'new' Doctor Who, 2005).

Criminal Minds (love Dr. Reid).

Heroes (I miss it! The writer's strike needs to end! Grrr!).

Mad Men (Love Vincent Kartheiser's work).

As for books, I found a really fun one called "Kokology". It's little self actualization tests you can take by yourself or (even more fun) with friends! Jean and I have been having fun with it. We should have the second book soon (hopefully before we get to the end of this one).

Websites, everyone visits them but usually people never list off their favorites.

Great place to find new homes for your old books and search around for new ones!
City Of Heroes
Very fun game! Costs $15 a month to play but it's so worth it!
SwapBot
A great community for swapping (whatever you want). Very fun and addictive.

Lastly I'll spew my opinion of music. :)
Duran Duran's new album... buy it... just buy it.
I don't really listen to mainstream radio so I can't say much about popular bands, although I do like Nickleback and the Gorillaz, etc. Mostly I like to listen to the types of music Jean gets her hands on. That slow, somewhat funky and/or depressing alternative/indie stuff. It's great coffee drinking music and peaceful to have playing in the background. Good 'soundtrack of my life' music.
